The Samye Ling shop has an extensive range of books, texts, ritual objects and a wide range of gifts and souvenirs. Many of our goods are imported from Nepal as well as made locally.

Large groups are recommended to let us know in advance, especially if you wish to visit the shop around lunchtime.

Opening Hours are 9.30 - 12.20 and 13.30 - 16.00 every day except Wednesdays when it opens 13.30 - 1600.

The Tibetan Tea Rooms

The warm, inviting atmosphere of the Tibetan Tea Rooms with its traditional decor provides a comfortable place to relax. It is open daily from 9.30 to 16.00 and also from 20.00 until 22.00 on Friday and Saturday evenings, serving a range of beverages and snacks.  Depending on availability of staff, the Tea Rooms may close for lunch between 12.15 and 13.30.

Large groups are recommended to let us know in advance so we can be sure to provide the service you require.
