Participate

There are a variety of ways in which you can participate in the life of Samye Ling which include visiting our centre for the day to spend time walking around the grounds, meditating in the temple, relaxing in our cafe over a cup of coffee and browsing in our shop. We are open all day long every day of the year.

             Easter retreat

You can also stay overnight in our guest house and attend one of our courses or retreats, or just simply relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Volunteering
Samye Ling depends on its team of volunteers to run smoothly and efficiently and we are always happy to welcome enthusiastic newcomers. You can work as a volunteer on a daily basis, coming and going each day, or you can stay here as a visitor or resident, helping out with gardening, lighting lamps for world peace, chopping vegetables in our kitchen or building maintenance work.

To find out more about becoming a resident volunteer contact our Administration Office at: admin@samyeling.org.

There are additional ways of contributing financially by joining the Phone Co-op, sponsoring lamps for world peace or by making a legacy or bequest.

You can also help us to distribute course information and literature about Samye Ling in the towns and places where you live. To arrange to do this please send an email to: admin@samyeling.org.
